This picture was taken in Venice, Italy circa 2011. I saw this chic lady walking alone in the dead cold of winter. She most certainly stood out from the crowd. I wondered where she might be headed to...could it have been to a romantic dinner to meet her love? Maybe. What I most remember is the confidence in her stride, even if she was the only one walking in heels. How chic.
