Artists....

I recently came across a couple of artists that I really liked, one being David Armstrong. Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan, she displays some of his pieces at her  Hampton's home. Though I am not a  fan of all his photography, I do love the project entitled, All Day Every Day shown above.  Personally, I've always liked blurred images, however, most people are not attracted to this style. How about you?

Another artist I discovered is Richard Diebenkorn. I love his use in abstract impressionism and the way he mixes color. He had different styles and ways of expressing his art. I do find it interesting and soothing to the eye.

Ramblings and Such.....

Dreaming of the Amalfi Coast...

And if I were going to the Amlafi, I  would so wear this kaftan.  Found here.
Je' aime this adorable tee for mon petit.  Found here.
Trying these fish tacos tonight! Thanks Joanna!
Would love to view this amazing instillation at Marseille Vieux Port by Foster and Partners.  They design some of the most interesting and beautiful architectural projects.
This is the  latest image I took of my Savi Apple. She is 60+ lbs of love. I never tire of taking her picture.

This post is entitled, Ramblings for a reason. It's ramblings of what inspired me, what I like, what I want to try and some of what I dream about. This is how my brain works, there never seems to be a sequence or a pattern, just  many thoughts, inspirations and ideas......
Thanks for reading:)

Matisse in the making of the DanceII.
This image of dry peony petals is inspiring to me. Peony's are my favorite flower and their dry petals are still so beautiful, full of color and inspiration. Image taken with my iPhone.
This Turkish washing towel via Malin Persson blog. Her blog is inspiring and an interesting read. She is a model and lives in Sweden with her Italian American husband and their children. Her blog is full of inspiration.
This loose top can be worn over swim wear or with jeans.
This pendant is adorable, I would never take it off.

Moroccan Rugs....

I have always loved anything that is hand made and of natural materials. I've a love for art and for me these, Beni Ouarain rugs are just that, hand made art. They are pure wool and the most prestigious carpets in Morocco. Made by hand for centuries, once completed they can last a life time and can be passed down for generations. These rugs add  juxtaposition to a modern and traditional interiors. They never go out of style and to this day remain one of the most sought after rugs with interior designers.
