Vintage Shopping

So this week a friend and I went vintage shopping.
She recently bought a beautiful new home and has been busy decorating it.
It was a fun project and we had many laughs while looking for interesting pieces.
You can see we loaded up her car with the things we found.
There were so many shops!
I had no idea this place existed close to where we live!
It was true bliss going to as many shops as we had time for.
We are both mothers and have little to no time for shopping
sans children, so this was a fun shopping trip for the two of us.

This shop in particular was one of my favorites.
It was full of interesting jewelry, perfumes, cosmetics, scarfs, and even beautiful hats.
The ladies there were extremely friendly and fun.
We spend quite of bit of time in this one. I hope to go back soon.

In this antique shop we found two beautiful tables.
One for my friend and one for me.
This place was an appliance and home store in the early 1900s.
The proprietor of this shop was a sweet older lady,
she called us babies so we loved her!

Here is the table I found. I will post the other piece as soon as we are finished painting it.
I want to reveal the before and after. You can see a little of the table on one of the above pictures.

We found so many interesting places,
 like the restaurant pictured here.

Details of some of the things we admired.
I hope you enjoyed this post:)
All photos taken by me on my iPhone.
Thank you so much for reading!
